I think fog is magical, like toads and good wine. The only drawback is the lack of sunshine, which gets to me after about 15 minutes of fog and makes me want to drink magical wine with a toad.
Alright, so yes I do look a bit sad, but: a) I shot this over a month ago and I hadn't slept all night b) I really liked how the weather was so eery and unusual and totally corresponded with my life at the time c) The song was from the radio and also fit in one of those, "wow, life is such a movie" moments d) I figured it would be wise to post something that balanced "virtual-me" out a bit...yeah, I'm smiley, but I'm not ALWAYS smiley. e) I intentionally followed it with the waterski video, which I edited to imply that regardless of massive wipeouts and er, sadness, you can always rally again. f) I actually got a concussion from that waterski wipeout and had to get out of the water.
Thus to conclude, I no longer have a concussion, I am no longer sleep-deprived nor "cloudy", and I really appreciate everyone's comments. Thanks.
Oh and yes, I really like the disembodied presence thing too. In fact, I love it. Thanks for noticing....

The effect of the camera hovering around your face was like a disembodied presence of which you were only half aware.
